What follows are 10 questions related to how you play (or have played) the role of the manager (or you think you will play the role of the manager once in position). Plus, some questions regarding demographics and other information that help us do statistical analyses).

They have been designed to assess not what your company (or “a” company) should do. But rather, they are designed to assess what you would typically do (as a manager, in that specific situation).

Please don't answer the questions as ideally how you'd "like to be." Instead, be as honest as possible, and answer how you typically react in the situations / scenarios we describe.

Management is not a one-size-fits-all matter. However, many issues may be addressed in a reasonably homogeneous way, and many mistakes may be avoided by being aware of certain principles and techniques. So … behind these 10 questions there is a precise framework about how the role of the manager should be played. But please note that this view is to be used only as the start of a discussion regarding your professional development.

Finally, for the sake of clarity, questions are closed-ended. There are no open-ended (free text) answers.

NOTE: you need to go through the questionnaire in one go. It should take you only a few minutes to do so.

The legal basis for processing your data is the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), EU's comprehensive law for data privacy. The information collected through this questionnaire is used solely to assess business management skills and experiences. No special category (sensitive) personal data is requested. Individual responses and feedback will be shared only with you (and not with any third party, unless you separately agree to that). Afterwards, individual responses will be anonymized. Once anonymized, the data can no longer be linked to you as an individual.

Aggregated data will be used for statistical summaries and may be shared with third parties. All data will be stored securely, either on the infrastructure of the entity presenting you with the questionnaire, or on a GDPR compliant third-party infrastructure.

All data will be accessed only by authorized personnel. Before anonymization, you have the right to request access to your data, correction or deletion of your data, withdrawal of your consent. Once data has been fully anonymized, these rights no longer apply, as the data can no longer be linked to you.

You also acknowledge that the content that follows is the cumulated result of significant research and experience accumulated by the authors of the questionnaire, and that it took a significant amount of time to be developed into its present state. As such, its content cannot be reproduced without the explicit consent of the authors.

Participation in this questionnaire is entirely voluntary. You may stop at any time before submitting your responses.
